July 21, 2026

The Oklahoma Warriors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Jack McClellan has committed to play NCAA hockey for St. Mary’s University in the MIAC.

The 5-foot-9 lefty from the State of Hockey, McClellan, will join the Cardinals in his home state of Minnesota. McClellan is a second-year veteran of the Warriors, skating in 34 games for the South Division team. This past season he played 18 games, recording four assists from the blue line.

The ‘06 defenseman’s rookie season featured the future Cardinal lacing up in 16 games for the Oklahoma-based team. McClellan scored his first junior goal while registering six assists for the Warriors.

Prior to joining the Warriors, the South St. Paul, Minnesota, skater played in four contests for the Rochester Grizzlies in the NA3HL. McClellan produced two assists for the roster before getting the call-up to the NAHL.

McClellan is one of nine Oklahoma Warriors to make an NCAA ice hockey commitment.
