Rochester Forward Giles makes NCAA Commitment

The Rochester Jr. Americans of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Brendan Giles has committed to play NCAA hockey for Trinity College in the NESCAC.

The 5-foot-10 righty from Ridgefield, Connecticut, GIles will stay in his home state to skate with the Bantams in the fall. Giles is a first-year forward in the League of Opportunity, skating 27 games with the Jr. Americans. The ‘05 forward recorded 11 goals and five assists in his 18 games played during the regular season. Three of his tallies were notched on the man advantage, while two were scored on the power play.

His offensive prowess carried into the postseason where he registered four assists in nine playoff games. 

Giles is one of 16 members of the Rochester Jr. Americans to make a college ice hockey commitment.
