Lone Star Forward Vogl makes NCAA Commitment

The Lone Star Brahamas of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Patrick Vogl has committed to play NCAA hockey for St. Olaf College in the MIAC.

The 6-foot skater from St. Louis, Missouri, Vogl will join the Oles in Northfield, Minnesota, this upcoming fall. Vogl is a second-year veteran of the League of Opportunity, skating in 49 games over the two seasons. This past year, Vogl started his 2025-26 campaign with the Chippewa Steel and skated in eight contests with the Midwest Division club. He recorded an assist in that span with the team. He would then be acquired by the Lone Star Brahmas and join the South Division team in late February. Vogl skated in three games, registering a goal for the Brahmas on February 28, 2026.

The 6-foot lefty made his debut in the League of Opportunity in the 2024-25 season with the Chippewa Steel. Vogl played in 38 contests with the Wisconsin-based team, registering 23 points for the club. The ‘06 forward scored eight goals while logging 15 assists for Chippewa. One of his tallies was scored on the man advantage for the Steel.

The ‘06 forward is an alumnus of the T1ER, skating with the CarShield program over four seasons. In his 18U season with CarShield, Vogl registered two points in eight games played during the 2023-24 season.

Vogl is one of 13 members of the Lone Star Brahmas to make a college ice hockey commitment.
