Minnesota Wilderness Forward Nagle makes NCAA Commitment

The Minnesota Wilderness of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Logan Nagle has committed to play NCAA hockey for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in the WIAC.

The 21-year-old from Post Falls, Idaho, will join the Falcons in Wisconsin this fall. Nagle is a third-year veteran of the Minnesota Wilderness, skating over 150 games with the Midwest Division team. This past season, the 6-foot forward laced up for 49 games. He recorded eight goals and notched 16 assists for the Wilderness. In addition, he featured three game-winning tallies for the team. In the postseason, he played in 12 contests, helping to lift his team to a Robertson Cup Championship Game appearance. In that run, he tallied two goals and five assists. In addition, Nagle scored a game-winning goal and a power-play tally in the 2026 postseason.

During his 2024-25 campaign, Nagle played in 41 games for the Wilderness. He scored 11 times while registering 14 assists for the Minnesota-based team. He was effective at scoring at crucial times in contests, recording three game-winning goals for his team. In addition, he secured two power-play goals and one short-handed tally.

Nagle made his NAHL debut in the 2023-24 season, skating in 55 games for the Wilderness. The ‘05 forward registered 16 points for the team, lighting the lamp five times while producing 11 assists for the Midwest Division club.

In his NAHL career, Nagle played 157 games in the Wilderness sweater, recording 72 points in that span. The third-year veteran scored 26 career goals and notched 46 career assists during his time in the League of Opportunity.

Nagle will join more than 20 NAHL alumni currently on the roster at UW-River Falls.

UW-River Falls, located just 30 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, competes in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and is a 19-time WIAC champion. The three-time NCAA national champions play their home games at the brand-new, $65 million W.H. Hunt Arena, located directly on campus.

Nagle is one of 11 members of the Minnesota Wilderness to make a college ice hockey commitment.
