Elmira Defenseman Brown Makes NCAA Commitment

The Elmira Aviators of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that defenseman Cole Brown has committed to play NCAA hockey for Wentworth Institute of Technology in the CNE.

The 6-foot righty from Tempe, Arizona, Brown will join the Leopards in Boston, Massachusetts, in the fall. Brown wrapped up his age-out season with the Aviators, lacing up in 41 games with the East Division club. In that span, the Arizona native recorded a goal and an assist for the New York-based team.

Prior to joining Aviators full-time, Brown had a five-game call-up with the NAHL club last season, while spending his time with the Binghamton Buzz during his 2024-25 campaign. With the Buzz, Brown registered 19 points in 32 games played. He lit the lamp on five occasions while registering 14 assists for the East Division team. One of his tallies was scored on the man advantage, while one goal was notched on the power play. In addition, Brown featured a +23 rating with the club.

Brown is one of 15 members of the Elmira Aviators to make an NCAA ice hockey commitment.
