Amarillo defenseman Jensen makes NCAA commitment

The Amarillo Wranglers of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Jayden Jensen has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Lawrence University of the NCHA.
Jensen, 21, is currently playing in his fourth and final full season in the NAHL. The 6’4/216 lbs. native of Marengo, IL, has recorded 10 points (1 goal, 9 assists) in 52 regular season games so far this season. Jensen began the year with the Corpus Christi IceRays and was later traded to the Wranglers in mid-January.
Jensen made his NAHL debut with the Springfield Jr. Blues during April of 2018 after playing two seasons for the Belle Tire 16U team.
He then would spend the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons in Springfield recording 21 points in 107 games with the Jr. Blues during that time span.
During the 2020-21 season, Jensen began the season with the Austin Bruins and was traded to the Northeast Generals.
Overall, Jensen has appeared in 197 career NAHL regular season games, which currently ranks him 32nd overall in games played in NAHL history.
