August 4, 2017
The Minot Minotauros, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), are pleased to announce that forward Zack Bross has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for UMass-Boston.
Bross, 21, just completed his second and final season of playing in the NAHL for the Minotauros. The native of Weldon Spring, Missouri recorded 40 points during the 2016-17 regular season, which included 15 goals and 25 assists.
Bross (6’0/195) was also selected to and played in the 2017 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Central Division team, where he had one goal in two games.
In 118 career NAHL games, Bross recorded 71 points.
Prior to playing for Minot, Bross played his Midget hockey for the St. Louis Jr. Blues.
We are so happy and grateful to get another Top Prospects player and a great kid out of the NAHL,” said UMass-Boston head coach Pete Belisle. “Our captain Colin Larkin is an NAHL graduate who has turned out fabulously for us and I expect the same for Zack.”
