Coulee Region goalie Graziano to play for NTDP

March 14, 2018
The Coulee Region Chill of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that rookie goaltender Josh Graziano has been added to the United States National Team Development Program 17-Team roster.

Graziano, 17, has had a very active first season of junior hockey with the Chill in 2017-18. In 16 games played, he has a record of 3-10-2 to go along with a 3.21 goals against average and a very nice 91.0% save percentage.

The 6’3/185 lbs. native of Williamsville, New York, picked up his first career NAHL win back on November 10th and has faced 535 shots this season against NAHL competition.

“Our organization is extremely excited for Josh and his recent opportunity with the NTDP.  Josh is extremely talented and this should be a great step for him in his development.  We wish Josh the best of luck the remainder of the season,” said Chill head coach Ryan Egan.

This marks the second season in a row that an NAHL goaltender has been called to the NTDP in the middle of the season. Last year, Lone Star Brahmas goaltender Erik Gordon was rostered by the NTDP in January of 2017.

For the past four seasons, the NAHL and NTDP have partnered together in the NAHL Showcase or the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament. The NAHL and the NTDP have a rich and productive 12-year history together, as the NTDP was a full-time member of the NAHL from 1997-2009.
