NAHL Weekend Preview

It is a big weekend as the NAHL has a full schedule of 24 games on the schedule, which will be prior to many teams taking a break for the upcoming Christmas holiday.

As the league approaches the halfway point, most if not all of the 24 teams are still firmly in the race for a division title, or at the very least, a playoff spot. The next couple of weeks will prove crucial for teams in their quest for the playoffs and spot in the standings.

The league had another great week for NCAA commitments with three more players making Division I commitments. To date, the 2018-19 season total sits at 134 players who are currently committed.

Following the game on Friday and Saturday, all NAHL teams will be sending a coaching representative to attend the NA3HL Showcase in Blaine, MN, which runs from December 16-18. All 24 NAHL teams will be in attendance scouting the event.

Just over two months remain until the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, which will take place from February 18-19, 2019 at the New England Sports Village in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

This weekend’s results could go a long way in determining who will be making the playoffs come April. All the series feature divisional games with several series highlighting teams that are right next to one another in the standings.
