Leach was also selected to and played in the 2019 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the Central Division team.

Leach made his NAHL debut during the 2016-17 season with the Springfield Jr. Blues. He has appeared in 117 career NAHL games over the course of three seasons with the Blizzard, the Philadelphia Rebels and the Jr. Blues.

“Playing in Brookings my last year definitely helped me get the to the right NCAA program for me because I was playing at a high level and Coach Mantha really helped me develop my game,” said Leach. “The NAHL is a very high level and allowed me to grow my game over the three years I played.”

He is the 9th player from the Blizzard’s 2018-19 roster who has committed to an NCAA school.
