Magicians forward Reifenberger makes NCAA D1 commitment

The Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce the forward Marko Reifenberger has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for Mercyhurst University in Atlantic Hockey.
Reifenberger, 20, is in his final season of junior hockey and first season with the Magicians in the NAHL. The 6’0/190 lbs. native of Hastings, Minnesota, is currently leading the Magicians in scoring during the 2019-20 season with 14 points (6 goals, 8 assists) in 22 games played.
Reifenberger played high school hockey in Minnesota for the Hill-Murray School. He then spent the better part of the next three seasons playing in the USHL prior to joining the Magicians this season.

We couldn’t be happier for Marko on his commitment to Mercyhurst. Marko’s experience and consistent determination and perseverance to accomplish his goal is a great example for junior players who who put in the time to earn this opportunity. Marko has been through adversity and has proven through his leadership and performance that he belongs at the next level. We wish him luck as the next chapter begins next year.
