Magicians forward Shogren makes NCAA commitment

The Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Sasha Shogren has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for Hamilton College.
 
Shogren, 20, just completed his first season of junior hockey with the Magicians in 2019-20. The 5’11/181 lbs. native of Edina, Minnesota, recorded 8 points (4 goals, 4 assists) in 47 games played. 
 
Shogren made an impact right away at the start of the season, which included two points at the NAHL Showcase, including his first goal.
 
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Shogren spent two seasons playing for Deerfield Academy and three seasons playing high school hockey in Minnesota for the Blake School.
