Kenai River forward Quinn makes NCAA D1 commitment
The Kenai River Brown Bears of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Jack Quinn has committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for Long Island University.
Quinn, 20, just completed his final season of playing junior hockey. The 6’0/181 lbs. native of Lancaster, Massachusetts, joined the Brown Bears in November and appeared in 36 games during the 2019-20 season, recording 17 points (11 goals, 6 assists).
“We are very excited for Jack to have earned this opportunity. Jack is a hard worker and very motivated player. He possesses natural goal scoring abilities and was able to produce in some key situations for us this season. We look forward to continue to follow Jack as he takes the next step in his career,” said Brown Bears head coach Kevin Murdock.
Prior to playing in the NAHL, Quinn played Prep School hockey for the Northfield Mount Hermon School.
