February 21, 2023

The Maine Nordiques of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that forward Anthony Achille has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Arizona State University.

Achille, 21, is currently in his first season playing in the NAHL and third season overall of playing junior hockey. The 5’11/173 lbs. native of Hingham, MA, has appeared in 42 games thus far during the 2022-23 season and recorded 34 points (12 goals, 22 assists), which currently ranks 3rd in team scoring.

“I am beyond excited to announce my commitment to further my education and play division 1 hockey at Arizona State University. I can’t thank my coaches, teammates, friends and family enough for believing and helping me throughout my journey,” said Achille on social media.

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Achille spent his youth hockey playing for the Boston Advantage. He also played for the New England Knights in the NA3HL during the 2019-20 season.
