Wisconsin defenseman Comstock makes NCAA DI commitment

The Wisconsin Windigo of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Erick Comstock has committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Augustana University in the CCHA.

Comstock, 18, is in his first full season playing in the NAHL for the Windigo. The 5’7/165 lbs. native of Salol, MN, has appeared in 25 games so far during the 2023-24 season and recorded 18 points (5 goals, 13 assists).

“I am excited to announce my commitment to play Division 1 Hockey and further my education at Augustana University. I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity. Thank you to my past, present, and future teammates, coaches, friends and family for all the support along the way,” said Comstock.

Comstock made his NAHL debut last season with the Windigo, recording one points in six games played.

Prior to playing in the NAHL, Comstock played high school hockey in Minnesota for Warroad High, where he recorded 88 points in 82 games over the course of three seasons.
