In the second period, the Maryland Black Bears scored two goals by Jesse Horacek, and David Utkin, and one goal for the Rochester Jr Americans scored by Gabe Randel making the score 3-2. In the third period, the Maryland Black Bears scored a goal by Jeremi Tremblay, and one goal for the Rochester Jr Americans was scored by Matteo Disipio making the final score 4-3. Owen Lepak saved 30 shots for the win, while Florian Wade saved 34 shots in the loss.
