Friday Finals: Janesville and Oklahoma Clinch Spots in Robertson Cup Playoffs

Rochester Jr Americans 3 @ Maryland Black Bears 4: In the first period the Rochester Jr Americans scored a goal by Jaden Dyke, and one goal for the Maryland Black Bears scored by Raymond Perrault making the score 1-1. In the second period, the Maryland Black Bears scored two goals by Jesse Horacek, and David Utkin, and one goal for the Rochester Jr Americans scored by Gabe Randel making the score 3-2. In the third period, the Maryland Black Bears scored a goal by Jeremi Tremblay, and one goal for the Rochester Jr Americans was scored by Matteo Disipio making the final score 4-3. Owen Lepak saved 30 shots for the win, while Florian Wade saved 34 shots in the loss.

 

New Hampshire Jr Mountain Kings 5 @ Northeast Generals 4: In the first period the New Hampshire Jr Mountain Kings scored a goal by Owen Benoit, and one goal for the Northeast Generals scored by Jacob Wilson making the score 1-1. In the second period, the Northeast Generals scored two goals by Nick Recupero, and Tyler Ramm, and one goal for the New Hampshire Jr Mountain Kings scored by Nick Reif making the score 3-2. In the third period, the New Hampshire Jr Mountain Kings scored three goals by Matthew Hale, Jack Costanzo, and Sean Bradley, and one goal for the Northeast Generals scored by Jack Gutwirth making the final score 5-4.  Sebastian Bodnar saved 32 shots for the win, while Peter Wickstrom Stumer saved 30 shots in the loss.

 

Danbury Jr Hat Tricks 2 @ Main Nordiques 3: In the first period the Main Nordiques scored a goal by Nils Forselius making the score 1-0. In the second period, the Danbury Jr Hat Tricks scored two goals by Grant Dietz, and Ivan Korodiuk, and one goal for the Main Nordiques making the score 2-2. In the third period, the Main Nordiques scored a goal by David Helledy making the final score 3-2. Carter Richardson saved 20 shots for the win, while Lukas Fursten saved 39 shots in the loss.

 

Philadelphia Rebels 1 @ Johnstown Tomahawks 2(SO): In the first period the Johnstown Tomahawks scored a goal by Nick White making the score 1-0. In the second period, the Philadelphia Rebels scored a goal by Bryce Strand making the score 1-1. After a slow third period, we headed into a shootout where the goal goes to the Johnstown Tomahawks making the final score 2-1. Jacob Osborne saved 28 shots for the win, while Jakub Krbecek saved 28 shots in the loss.

 

Springfield Jr Blues 3 @ Wisconsin Windigo 4(OT): In the first period the Wisconsin Windigo scored three goals by Ethan DeKay, Mario DiMaggio, and Will Schumacher making the score 3-0. In the second period, the Springfield Jr Blues scored a goal by Anthony Ruklic making the score 3-1. In the third period, the Springfield Jr Blues scored two goals by Landry Schmuck, and Aidan Dyer making the score 3-3. In overtime, the Wisconsin Windigo scored a goal by Maxwell Martin making the final score 4-3. Max Beckford saved 24 shots for the win, while JJ Cataldo saved 33 shots in the loss.

 

Chippewa Steel 2 @ Janesville Jets 6: In the first period Janesville Jets scored two goals by Nick Sajevic, and James Taylor making the score 2-0. In the second period, the Janesville Jets scored four goals by Nicholas Stevens, Ethan Begg, Trey Fechko, and Mason Kesselring, and one goal for the Chippewa Steel scored by Talan Blanck making the score 6-1. In the third period, the Chippewa Steel scored a goal by Cam Springer making the final score 6-2. Jan Kasal saved 44 shots for the win, while Carter Wishart saved 25 shots in the loss.

 

Minot Minotauros 2 @ Austin Bruins 1: After the first period we headed into the second period, where the Minot Minotauros scored a goal by Colby Woogk, and one goal for the Austin Bruins scored by Nathan Williams making the score 1-1. In the third period, the Minot Minotauros scored a goal by Nicholas Sewecke making the score 2-1. Brady James saved 20 shots and Lukas Swedin saved 2 shots for the win, while Vilgot Holm saved 18 shots in the loss.

 

North Iowa Bulls 3 @ Aberdeen Wings 7: In the first period the Aberdeen Wings scored three goals by Luke Backel, Drew Mackie, Nikolai Tishkevich, and two goals for the North Iowa Bulls scored by Billy Moloney, and Zach Laurila making the score 3-2. In the second period, the Aberdeen Wings scored three goals by Bennett Koupal, Jibber Kuhl, and Simon Pollock making the score 6-2. In the third period, the Aberdeen Wings scored a goal by Matthew Wisener, and one goal for the North Iowa Bulls scored by Eli Miller making the final score 7-3. Croix Kochendorfer saved 24 shots for the win, while Connor Graham saved 20 shots and Santo Simmchen saved 14 shots in the loss.

 

Corpus Christi IceRays 3 @ Oklahoma Warriors 2(OT): In the first period the Corpus Christi IceRays scored two goals by Troy Pelton and Michael Valdez making the score 2-0. After a slow second period, we headed into the third period, where the Oklahoma Warriors scored two goals by Anthony Cafarelli, and Branko Vukas making the score 2-2. In overtime, Michael Valdez scored for the Corpus Christi IceRays making the final score 3-2. Bryant Marks saved 49 shots for the win, while Owen Bartoszkiewicz saved 5 shots and Daniel Duris saved 22 shots in the loss.

 

St Cloud Norsemen 2 @ Bismarck Bobcats 5: In the first period the Bismarck Bobcats scored a goal by Keanu Krennmaking the score 1-0. In the second period, the Bismarck Bobcats scored three by Mathieu Bourgault, Landon Fandel, Kade Kohanski, and one goal for the St Cloud Norsemen scored by Tyler Dysart making the score 4-1. In the third period, the Bismarck Bobcats scored a goal by Evan Hunter, and one goal for the St Cloud Norseman scored by Rhys Wallin making the final score 5-2. Klayton Knapp saved 31 shots for the win, while Ryan Manzella saved 19 shots in the loss.

 

El Paso Rhinos 5 @ Amarillo Wranglers 2: In the first period the El Paso Rhinos scored a goal by Medrick Bolduc, and one goal for the Amarillo Wranglers was scored by Topi Puikkonen making the score 1-1. In the second period, the El Paso Rhinos scored three goals by Camden Bajzer, Eddie Shepler, and Mason LeBel, and one goal for the Amarillo Wranglers scored by Ben Ivey making the score 4-2. In the third period, the El Paso Rhinos scored a goal by Frank Tafelski making the final score 5-2. Michael Manzi saved 21 shots for the win, while Connor McDonough saved 37 shots in the loss.

 

Shreveport Mudbugs 3 @ Odessa Jackalopes 2: In the first period the Shreveport Mudbugs scored a goal by Brent Litchard, and one goal for the Odessa Jackalopes scored by John Wojciechoski making the score 1-1. In the second period, the Shreveport Mudbugs scored two goals by Bryce Boucher, and Ryan Burke making the score 3-1. In the third period, the Odessa Jackalopes scored a goal by Lemuel Vardy making the final score 3-2. Eliot Seguin-Lescarbeau saved 20 shots for the win, while Ivan Zhigalov saved 25 shots in the loss.

 

New Mexico Ice Wolves 6 @ Colorado Grit 3: In the first period the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored two goals by Dillon Kuntz, and Ty Tuccitto, and one goal for the Colorado Grit scored by Quinn Bowden making the score 2-1. In the second period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored two goals by Ryan Seelinger, and Ethan Hull, and one goal for the Colorado Grit scored by Sheldon Rioux making the score 4-2. In the third period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored two goals by Graham Harris, and Rasmus Leijonhielm, and one goal for the Colorado Grit scored by Tomas Vlcek making the final score 6-3. Jackson Fuller saved 33 shots for the win, while Aden Gariepy saved 22 shots and Jack Erickson saved 19 shots in the loss.

 

Anchorage Wolverines 8 @ Fairbanks Ice Dogs 2: In the first period the Anchorage Wolverines scored four goals by Camden Shasby, Danny Bagnole, Kade Shea, and Tyler Hennen, and one goal for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs scored by Arseni Vorobyov making the score 4-1. In the second period, the Anchorage Wolverines scored two goals by Bryce Monrean, and Cole Christian making the score 6-1. In the third period, the Anchorage Wolverines scored two goals by Oliver Salo, and Danny Bagnole, and one goal for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs scored by Adam Timm making the final score 8-2. Liam Beerman saved 28 shots for the win, while Tyler Krivtsov saved 7 shots and Marcus Ouellet saved 26 shots in the loss.

 

Minnesota Wilderness 1 @ Kenai River Brown Bears 4: In the first period the Kenai River Brown Bears scored two goals by Gavin Duckworth and Carter McCormick  making the score 2-0. In the second period, the Kenai River Bears scored two goals by Luke Hause, and Ryan Hipsag, and one goal for the Minnesota Wilderness scored by Peteris Purmalis making the score 4-1. After a slow third period, the final score was 4-1. Conor Sullivan saved 20 shots for the win, while Nick Erickson saved 22 shots in the loss.
