Saturday Scores: Chippewa picks up crucial win in Midwest Division

New Mexico Ice Wolves 3 @ Colorado Grit 2(OT): In the first period the Colorado Grit scored a goal by Alexander German making the score 1-0. In the second period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored a goal by Rasmus Leijonhielm making the score 1-1. In the third period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored a goal by Ethan Hull, and one goal for the Colorado Grit scored by Alexander German making the score 2-2. In overtime, the New Mexico Ice Wolves scored by Olivier Lamothe making the final score 3-2. Andy Vlaha saved 35 shots for the win, while Jack Erickson saved 34 shots in the loss.

 

Jr Americans 5 @ Maryland Black Bears 6(OT): in the first period the Maryland Black Bears scored two goals by Dmitry Kebrreau, and Riley Ruh, and one goal for the Rochester Jr Americans scored by Alex Zakrzewski making the score 2-1. In the second period, the Rochester Jr Americans scored three goals by Matteo Disipio, Michael Sandruck, and Luka Leighton making the score 4-2. In the third period, the Maryland Black Bears scored three goals by Matthew Croxall, Michael Urgo, and Jeremi Tremblay, and one goal for the Rochester Jr Americans scored by Thomas Rockey making the score 5-5. In overtime, the Maryland Black Bears scored a goal by Samuel Stitz making the final score 6-5. Owen Lepak saved 23 shots for the win while Cole O’Donnell saved 38 shots in the loss.

 

Danbury  Hat Tricks 2 @ Maine Nordiques 7: In the first period the Main Nordiques scored four goals two by Evan Orloff, one by David Grosek, and Jake Bernadet, and one goal for the Danbury  Hat Tricks scored by Logan Nickerson making the score 4-1. In the second period, the Main Nordiques scored a goal by Zion Green, and one goal for the Danbury  Hat Tricks scored by Jack Wuertz making the score 5-2. In the third period, the Main Nordiques scored two goals by Liam Gilmartiin, and Kellen Murphy making the final score 7-2. Carter Richardson saved 23 shots for the win, while Lukas Fursten saved 17 shots and Thomas Kiesewetter saved 6 shots in the loss.

 

New Hampshire Jr Mountain Kings 0 @ Northeast Generals 6: In the first period the Northeast Generals scored two goals by Frank D’Ancona, and Brandon Spaulding making the score 2-0. In the second period, the Northeast Generals scored a goal by Jake Gutwrith making the score 3-0. In the third period, the Northeast Generals scored three goals two by Sixten Jennersjo, and one by Ryan Remick making the final score 6-0. Toby Hopp saved 34 shots for the win and shutout, while Stefan Carney saved 20 shots in the loss.

 

Philadelphia Rebels 0 @ Johnstown Tomahawks 6: In the first period the Johnstown Tomahawks scored four goals, two by Nick White, one by Will Lawrence, and Jaden Johnson making the score 4-0. After a slow second period, we headed into the third period, where the Johnstown Tomahawks scored two goals by Zach Aben, and Will Moore making the final score 6-0. Zack Ferris saved 38 shots for the win and shutout, while Owen Crudale saved 13 shots and Jakub Krbecek saved 15 shots in the loss.

 

Springfield Jr Blues 1 @ Wisconsin Windigo 5: In the first period the Springfield Jr Blues scored a goal by Hadley Hudak making the score 1-0. In the second period, the Wisconsin Windigo scored three goals, two by Will Schumacher, and one by Maxwell Martin making the score 3-1. In the third period, the Wisconsin Windigo scored two goals by Maxwell Martin, and Braydon Beahm making the final score 5-1. Linards Lipskis saved 14 shots for the win, while Matt Schoephoerster saved 40 shots in the loss.

 

Chippewa Steel 2 @ Janesville Jets 1: In the first period the Chippewa Steel scored a goal by Jacob Ligi making the score 1-0. In the second period, the Janesville Jets scored a goal by Hayden Kruse making the score 1-1. In the third period, the Chippewa Steel scored a goal by Talan Blanck making the final score 2-1. Ajay White saved 41 shots for the win, while Jan Kasal saved 33 shots in the loss.

 

Minot Minotauros 7 @ Austin Bruins 0: In the first period the Minot Minotauros scored three goals by Colby Bear, John Emmons, and Jack O’Hanisain making the score 3-0. In the second period, the Minot Minotauros scored two goals by Adam Mahler, and Joel Lehtinen making the score 5-0. In the third period, the Minot Minotauros scored two goals by Weaston Knox, and Cayden Casey making the final score 7-0. Lukas Swedin saved 34 shots for the win and shutout, while Vilgot Holm saved 30 shots in the loss.

 

North Iowa Bulls 3 @ Aberdeen Wings 5: In the first period the North Iowa Bulls scored a goal by Blake Ulve and one goal for the Aberdeen Wings scored by Gavin Reed making the score 1-1. In the second period, the North Iowa Bulls scored a goal by Jack Seaverson making the score 2-1. In the third period, the Aberdeen Wings scored four goals two by Salvatore Collora, one by Jibber Kuhl, and Weston Turner, and one goal for the North Iowa Bulls scored by Yibin Yoo making the final score 5-3. Adam Dybal saved 22 shots for the win, while Santo Simmchen saved 34 shots in the loss.

 

Corpus Christi IceRays 1 @ Oklahoma Warriors 4: After a slow first period we headed into the second period, where the Oklahoma Warriors scored two goals both by Max Dronen making the score 2-0. In the third period, the Oklahoma Warriors scored two goals by Drew Sutton, and Sebastian Speck and one goal for the Corpus Christi IceRays scored by Will Reardon making the final score 4-1. Daniel Duris saved 22 shots for the win, while Bryant Marks saved 46 shots in the loss.

 

St Cloud Norsemen 3 @ Bismarck Bobcats 4(OT): After a slow first period we headed into the second period, where the Bismarck Bobcats scored three goals by Kade Kohanski, Tommy Cronin, and Matthew Rafalski making the score 3-0. In the third period, the St Cloud Norsemen scored three goals by Braden Panzer, Hagen Moe, and Peyton Mithmuangneua making the score 3-3. In overtime, the Bismarck Bobcats scored a goal by Evan Hunter making the final score 4-3. Stephen Peck saved 33 shots for the win, while Max Weilandt saved 20 shots in the loss.

 

El Paso Rhinos 2 @ Amarillo Wranglers 3: In the first period the El Paso Rhinos scored a goal by Eddie Shepler making the score 1-0. In the second period, the Amarillo Wranglers scored two goals by Connor McNaughton, and Luke Morris, and one goal for the El Paso Rhinos scored by Mason LeBel making the score 2-2. In the third period, the Amarillo Wranglers scored a goal by Topi Puikkonen making the final score 3-2. Connor McDonough saved 35 shots for the win, while Joey LoVullo saved 22 shots in the loss.

 

Shreveport Mudbugs 4 @ Odessa Jackalopes 0: In the first period the Shreveport Mudbugs scored a goal by Maksim Sushchynski making the score 1-0. In the second period, the Shreveport Mudbugs scored two goals by Nick Marino, and Brent Litchard making the score 3-0. In the third period, the Shreveport Mudbugs scored a goal by Lucas Deeb making the final score 4-0. Nikola Goich saved 26 shots for the win and shutout, while Maksim Bely saved 37 shots in the loss.

In the third period, the Anchorage Wolverines scored a goal by Bryce Monrean, and two goals for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs scored by Nolan Abraham making the score 5-5. In overtime, the Anchorage Wolverines scored a goal by Camden Shasby making the final score 6-5. Vaughn Makar saved 23 shots for the win, while Tyler Krivtsov saved 29 shots in the loss.

 

Minnesota Wilderness 2 @ Kenai River Brown Bears 5: In the first period, the Kenai River Brown Bears scored two goals by Brady Engelkes, and Roope Tuomioksa making the score 2-0.
