New Hampshire defenseman Doolan makes NCAA DIII Commitment

April 9, 2024

The New Hampshire Mountain Kings of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that defenseman Josh Doolan has announced his commitment to play NCAA Division III Hockey for Hobart College.

Doolan, 20, is wrapping up his first season in junior hockey and first in the NAHL. The Southborough, Massachusetts native joined the Mountain Kings after multiple seasons with Belmont Hill School and has been a steady producer from the blue line all year. In 52 games throughout the regular season, Doolan amassed 7 goals and 10 assists for 17 points.

His best offensive stretch of hockey came in mid-November, when he recorded 6 points (2 goals, 4 assists) in a six-game stretch against Danbury, Northeast, and Maryland. Throughout the season, Doolan has a -3 rating.

Doolan’s commitment brings New Hampshire’s inaugural season total to ten, a phenomenal representation of their dedication to development and advancement to collegiate hockey.
